I live and breath finding a good cup of tea. My favourite is
an Earl Grey or a hot simmering cup of loose leaf tea, as I write this post I have a tea sitting beside me, blogging and drinking
tea just seems to be a comfort in my home.
My mission this past weekend at the Blissdom Canada Conference was to find
alternative sweetener's, mainly Equal Sweetener. My last coffee date at Tim Horton's was not successful, not due to the service as they are always fabulous. I could not
locate the Equal Sweetener.
Either it was fate or honestly meant to be, as I was going to drive into the city
on Thursday but last minute I chose to take the Go Train. Avoiding the morning rush is always a great start to the day, and
finding a great cup of tea is an added bonus. I purchased my ticket and had only a few minutes to spare and spotted a kiosk,
yes I needed to start my morning commute off right and then sit on the train and answer a few emails...bliss.
As
I was reaching for the sugar, I spotted it.....yes I found small packets of Equal Sweetener, I grabbed for my smartphone to snap a picture and realized it was 7:23am and the train arrived at 7:27am. Pressure, I managed
to get a picture but it was not the greatest as I was balancing my iPad, phone and tea at the same time.
On the train platform I realized I grabbed an extra packet here.
Mission completed before I reached the conference, really how
lucky was that. Unfortunately I did not have time to ask the employee about the other selections of sweeteners and how long
they have served Equal. I would have missed my train and ended up with cold tea.
When in Toronto I did not find Equal, mission fail. Guess I can not be that lucky.
