Christmas Quality Time and on the Hunt for #EqualCanada
with #CBias
This year I was looking forward
to a nice quiet Christmas, with new traditions and spending as much time with my children as possible. This included a lot
of time off line, I truly enjoyed receiving very little emails and my cell phone stayed in my purse the majority of the time.
Normally Christmas Eve we attend the Children's
service at our Church and then we have our family over for drinks and dinner. This year was completely different as my immediate
family are in Florida. Speaking with my MIL we decided to meet them Christmas eve for an early dinner at a local restaurant,
I decided that I would take my girls early. 1) To get a large enough table 2) To spend extra time with them.
We visit this establishment on a regular basis, but never noticed
what different varieties of sweeteners they provide to their customers. Just prior to my family showing up I decided to order
an Earl Grey tea, as I love a steaming cup of tea and was sent by Collective Bias to see which sweeteners were offered.

The tea came out with a huge pot of boiling water and milk,
and only one sweetener option. To my disappointment it was not Equal. I have been extremely lucky finding Equal in Oakville
at a lot of coffee houses, but this is my first attempt at a restaurant.
Our waitress was fabulous and was in quite the Christmas spirit, she was engaging and very friendly.
I managed to spend a few minutes with her asking questions about sweeteners and why the Equal Sweetener was not offered.
The problem is they are a pub and have a high turn over of pub customers. They specialize in serving a big variety of beer
and spirits.
I was somewhat satisfied with
that answer, even though my mission did not find the Equal Sweetener.
Even though I did not find Equal, they might think about providing this in the future as we had a
long discussion about Equal and offering a better variety of sweeteners to their customers.
