Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Contest

Its that time of year again for the biggest awards show of the year, The Oscars!

The entertainment industry has become so close to us that in some cases we are texting, tweeting and facebooking with the actual stars themselves.  We have in a way become part of the big day and all the celebrations that go along with it. Whether we live in Los Angeles or not, the entertainment world has come to us through the magic of SM.  Online streaming and trending topics always experience their biggest nights during such shows as the Oscars and the Super Bowl.  I, for one, will be curled up on Sunday night to watch the extravaganza.

WonderMoms.ca and their friends at TELUS are teaming up yet again for the Big Night!  And with that we are offering up a great contest.  The opportunity for one reader to take home the all-new, Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray mobile device.

Lets however, go through the other nominees up for awards on Oscar night.

The Artist

The Artist is a movie about making movies and TELUS has found its perfect match. The LG Optimus LTE is a state of the art smartphone ideal for any cinematographer. Equipped with both an 8 megapixel camera and video camera, this device lets you capture life's moments, while easily sharing the images and videos with friends and families.

The Help

A movie about writing and sharing your story should be paired with a smartphone that really allows you to express yourself - the Samsung Galaxy Note. Move away from the traditional pen and paper and work on a big screen with a digital s-pen (offering the precision of a real pen, ability to edit and share stories) to capture your journey. The Samsung Galaxy Note lets you share your stories with your whole circle quickly and easily.

Moneyball

Brad Pitt plays a character that we can all relate to very well in Moneyball - a hardworking, driven, individual who's short for time. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus helps you seamlessly multi-task, so you can get that extra hour into your day. Equipped with Skype video calling, this phone makes it easy to connect with friends and family when you're apart. Featuring Android Beam, users can share business contacts by simply clicking phones together, and Face Unlock, allows you to unlock your phone just by looking at it - two great ways to help you save time when you're in a rush and need to make that crucial deal.

The Descendants

Since the movie is about re-connecting with family and breaking down the boundaries that separate us, the Sony Ericsson Xperia ray is a great companion. This sleek and elegant device offers both a stylish look and a high quality mobile experience. The Sony Ericsson Xperia ray measures in at a slim 9.4mm in width and packs style and innovation into one device. Small enough to tuck away, yet powerful enough for all your needs, this smartphone will appeal to every member of the family. Equipped with an 8.1 megapixel camera and video recorder it is the perfect device to capture family moments together. Stay connected with Facebook inside Xperia by uploading, sharing and tagging your images.

Should be a fun filled evening full of excitement, suspense and intrigue.  I look forward to watching the program and all the trending topics that go along with it, such as who is the best dressed, whose hair is outrageous and who would be caught dead in that.  The Oscars never fails to impress.

To enter, simply fill out the form below and remember tweet during the Oscars.
